Establish plan and implement a preventive maintenance program based on the Original Manufacturers recommendations and review as necessary including long term maintenance strategy.
Assess the remaining life of critical equipment especially Boiler and its accessories based on international standard, plan and implement rectification ensuring that the highest standards of quality and safety are achieved including contract management.
Assist the Engineering Area Manager to define and develop appropriate condition-based maintenance strategies.
Ensure that sufficient tools and spare parts are stocked to support plant availability consistent with minimizing stores stock holding.
Assist the Engineering Area Manager in the preparation of budgets and control the budget spending.
Exercise control of staff in the areas of discipline. Team improvement by coaching, training mentoring, KPI setting and performance evaluation, etc.
Take responsible of safety, process safety management (PSM), health and environment. Work as a safety manner to others. Avoid taking unsafe shortcut or fail to follow established procedure that might negatively impact on safety, process safety management (PSM), health and environment.
Initiate and undertake plant review and propose modifications to improve plant performance.
Undertake other related activities within his/her competence and capabilities as required by the Function Head to support the overall activity of the company.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (GPA 2.75 and above)
TOEIC 600 and above
8 to 10 years for Boiler maintenance work in power plant or related field
Power plant outage experience is preferred
Direct working experience in maintenance for boiler or flue gas handling system (Electrostatic precipitation or flue gas desulfurization system) or Ash handling system (Fly ash or Bottom ash) will be advantage.
Be able to manage both routine and outage work effectively for time, cost and quality of work.
Be able to manage the contractor for both routine and outage work.
Familiar with local and international code and standards such as API, ASTM, ASME, ANSI, TEMA, ISO etc.
Capable for using Maintenance software program, i.e. Maximo.
Good command of both written and spoken English.
Able to work under pressure with highly responsible, analytical and systematic.
Able to work in Rayong province. (Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate)
